The atmosphere of the restaurant is lovely and the cappuccino they serve is delicious. However, the customer service is lacking. The reception area is often empty and customers have to raise their voices to get someone's attention. When someone does finally show up, they seem confused about the orders. Customer service should be improved to match the quality of the products being served.

Today I visited this restaurant and decided to try their chicken salad croissant. Unfortunately, I found that it had a strange taste that I couldn't quite place at first. It turned out that the salad had a very unique flavor, not like the usual mayo or other typical ingredients. The tomato also had a distinct and fresh taste, not like any other tomato I had tasted before. However, their signature chocolate cake was absolutely delicious, just as it sounds. I look forward to trying more of their tasty dishes in the future. The two staff members I encountered were friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be returning to this hidden gem.

The chocolate was delicious but the portions was a bit on the smaller size for the price.Spent close to a hundred dollars for 34 pieces of chocolate for Valentine's day for my beautiful wife. She enjoyed them therefore I guess Banyan Tree was worthy of 4 stars.
