I was looking for an authentic Mexican restaurant and finally found it! I went to order food, and it was very easy and didn't take long. I ordered 3 different Tacos and Steak-Fajitas. The Fajitas came with yellow rice and black beans that were very good. Also ordered chips and salsa and I have to say... they were the best chips and salsa I've ever had. This will be our way to Mexico.
Mofongo and enchiladas are definitely the highlights here. The food is incredibly authentic and delicious, made fresh and cooked to order. When you visit Guadalupana, be prepared to spend some time there. The service may not be the quickest, but it's absolutely worth the wait. Don't hesitate—come in, find a seat, and make yourself comfortable instead of just standing around!
The food was delightful, but the service fell a bit short. I understand that everyone can have an off day, but our waitress didn't seem very focused on customer service.
This is possibly the most authentic Hispanic restaurant I've encountered outside of Mexico. So much so that only two employees spoke English, and only one of them was fluent. The establishment is quite small and easy to overlook in the strip mall. They offer bar-style seating, an open kitchen area, and tables as well. The staff were all incredibly friendly and accommodating to my vegetarian diet. The seafood and other dishes were exceptionally fresh, and the salsas were out of this world. My mother and I enjoyed two delicious meals for just $23! I will definitely be returning—I'm already looking forward to it!
