Pride Of The South Bbq - Sarasota

I'm a guy who likes to bbq for me and friends, so I don't usually go out and get it because I rarely find a value for it. Pride of the South BBQ is worth it! My friends brought me last week and I had to get more today. The crew there knows how to serve some southern hospitality and make a great Bbq. The corn bread was moist and sweet. The Coleslaw was perfect between pepper and sweet. The baked beans should die, and the brisket is something of the best I've ever had. Do not make a mistake about it, try this bbq, you will be impressed and not hungry after you leave.

My family and I just had a contaminated meal at Pride of the South BBQ! Some of the most delicate brisket, pulled pork, chicken and ribs we've ever eaten. The bark on the brisket was perfect and all sides were on the money!! This is a must in the Sarasota region!! Pride definitely goes into the food they serve and the guys come to the table and talk to you how long lost family! Can't recommend this place enough!! God bless and keep doing what you do!!

This place makes incredibly good food. My current (and probably forever) favorite is the smoked wings that they fried shortly before serving to give them this crunchy outer crust. They are smokey and juicy and amazingly served with each of the sauces (try it with the Bama Hot and Carolina Gold). But let's talk about the Brisket BLT for a second...Sweet baby Jesus... this is a monster in any good way possible. The aromas are brilliant, the sandwich is huge, but it all balances and works together. Don't get this thing if you try to eat Dunty. It is scary and filling and amazingly good. Kudos, whoever thought of the combo for this BBQ Frankenstein, meets Diner classics. A-freaking-mazing.

Best BBQ around. No matter what you get from the menu, it is huge proportions and always amazing. Mike knows his art of BBQ very well and never disappoints. Food, value and staff are always top Notch!

Although we got there late in the day and they explained that they had an extremely busy day so they were out of a few things, but what they served up was delicious! The baby backs were good! The fried corn was different, but I would definitely recommend giving it a try! But the baked beans were spectacular!
