The coffee and baked goods here are truly exceptional! I would have rated it 5 stars if the ordering process and wait for the food hadn't taken so long. However, they do make everything fresh to order, which is appreciated!

The almond croissant was sliced, filled with almond paste, and warmed just as I requested – truly a perfect pastry. Unlike other bakeries in the city, which either don’t include almond paste at all and serve their croissants dry and at room temperature or add the paste too early, resulting in soggy pastries, this place gets it right. Be prepared for a wait, especially on weekends, but I see that as a positive – it only reinforces my belief that this bakery is the best!

I had a fantastic breakfast with a family member in a very welcoming atmosphere. Many of the regulars were incredibly friendly. The food is excellent; I highly recommend the spectacular cheese omelette, and don’t forget to take some of their amazing baked goods home with you!

Rendez-vous offers sarasota with the perfect combination of indoor/outside seats and caffeine. In addition, depending on the time of the day, they offer two separate menus so that they can go open at any time and get something suitable for eating. I recommend getting the mandel croissant while they are there. the only reason why this is not 5 stars is the stele coffee we got while we were there, as well as the flies that were in where we were sitting.

Our favorite Saturday treat. Great coffee, a perfect croissant and people watching! The omelets and other bakery treats are delicious too.
