Rice Box Express - Sarasota

We do not go very often to this place due to distance and traffic, but when we do it, it is always an excellent experience! Today is my birthday and so we made a special trip to get dinner. I built my own shower with vegetables and roasted tofu in their vegan garlic sauce and it was delicious! The veggies and tofu were cooked exactly right, without hesitation in the vegetables and the tofu was beautiful and firm. All the garlic sauce was perfectly absorbed and the part I ate was so tasteful. I also had a small hot and sour soup, which was also very tasteful. I could taste the sour instantly, while the hot component really built up and made my mouth pleasant! My husband tried the Vegan Singapore Mi Fen and just disappeared the part he had for tonight's dinner. I could smell the curry in his plate and maybe have to ask him for a little taste when we reheat tomorrow! I wish we either lived closer or that another store could open in our area (NW Bradenton, at AMI). Can't wait to go back! Edited to add: the man who took our order also gave us first-class customer service! He came out to take our order before I could call it and was very nice and pleasant. I feel bad we didn't call and he was so nice about it.

Rice Box is the best!! I'm going from the other side of the city to pick up from here. The food is always good, punctual and always hot and they have a very efficient exhaust system. Definitely recommend!

Customer service is extraordinary in this efficient take out restaurant. Very impressed with the organized timing system and the extra attention given to our order. We never review restaurants but had to give a special shout out for this unexpected, exemplary service. Food tastes great too!
