Feedback gevenIt was a unique experience watching them make the ice, but I personally prefer the flavor of traditional ice cream. It was certainly enjoyable to see the process and delightful to try something different.
This is a fantastic ice cream spot! It’s a lot of fun watching the dishes being prepared, and there are some delicious mix-ins to choose from. We had a large group, so we tried a variety of combinations. Don’t shy away from the vegan options—they’re surprisingly good! I was particularly impressed with the vegan peppermint flavor!
If you are lactose intolerance (no milk), then sub-zero is DAS place. Shakes, ice cone, hot fudge parasols etc. can be made without milk.
Choose your taste, choose to mix, choose your type of cream. They mix it in a metal shell and then freeze it with nitrogen. I remembered Mr. Freeze. The ice cream is hard and in a cone or a cup. Very delicious and funny!
I still don't quite understand what nitrogen ice cream is, but I genuinely loved my waffle cone filled with salted caramel and walnut ice cream during my walk home. It's definitely worth a try! I finished my entire scoop and cone, which is something I've never done in all my 50 years.
