O Croustou Dit Vin - Sarlat-la-Canéda

Great wine, good food and service a la Francais., what's not to love! When little else is open New Years Eve, this is a wine haven. Cute owners dog is available to make a fuss of! Recommend.

We decided to go for a glass of wine whilst waiting for our friend to join us after seeing the art gallery. We asked for a carafe of rose only to be told by a very snooty South African lady that they don't do carafes. We have never felt so unwelcome in any bar ever. It was as if it was all she could do to serve us. We did try to speak in French but when asking for the bill it became quite obvious that the waitress could not. Very sad as it was a nice spot.

We chose this "Bar/Tapas/Vins" for lunch, finding rather nice the idea of being able to pick up and discover local products. Lack...More

We spent an unforgettable moment but not in the right sense of the term!Small 1: the service, table not changed between customers, kind waitress like a prison door, pass the hot plates above the customer's head, manicure probably made by the local garagiste ...Petit 2 : potatoes full of skin, meat too cooked, dessert served as at home (a half-moked meal)

Grosse déception pour le fois gras car mi-cuit et ce n'était pas précisé sur la carte. Donc avis perso car pas à mon goût.J'ai choisi le menu plus cher car celui-ci était fait maison. Si j'avais su....Le confis et les pommes de terre étaient corrects ainsi que le dessert mais sans plus.Dommage de ne pas inclure de canard dans les menus enfants. Ils ont pris un confit a la carte qu ils ont terminé.Serveuse sympa.
