Boston Pizza - Sarnia

After a long drive from Detroit for a concert, we decided to stop at this restaurant. We were welcomed by an eccentric man with a quirky sense of humor and were seated promptly.

Yes, it is a chain, but it is hands-down the very best pizza I have eaten. But there is so much more than pizza - pasta and salads are on the menu, too. Our server, Dani, was super friendly and we enjoyed the experience.

It had been a couple of years since we had eaten here, but we decided to stop in for lunch for something different.. We had the Lunch Texas style Quesadillias with fries and salad ,coffee and water.. It was very good! Staff were friendly and the service was good.

I ordered an 4 "individual pizza and the toppings were wrong. It cost over $13, I called to let them know. They took my name and number and said to reorder again at my convenience. I called and ordered a week later. I was on my way to work so I ran in to grab it. First the hostess said the cashier lady who was taking an order on the phone would be right with me. At least 5 minutes later cashier lady still on the phone...someone else came out and said they would get my pizza ...I said I'm in a hurry I have to go to work ...a few minutes later she showed up with the pizza. I said can I go I'm in a hurry...she said the manager was coming and wanted to talk to me? OK. ..running later...he came out and asked who I talked to on the phone and normally they send out vouchers in the mail?? I don't know who I talked and I have to go work. Well we have no record of your wrong order, you'll have to pay for it...which I would have if I hadn't left my purse in the car, and cashier lady was still on the phone taking an order...I have to drive across town to work.I told them to keep it! Now I have no supper. Couldn't they have at least called me back when I placed the order? They had my cell #. It will be a long time before I even consider going back there.

The food here is still just ok in my opinion and pricey. 32 $for 1 large pizza . The service is good. They have a varied selection of house favourite za's. We haven't been here for awhile but the pizza we enjoyed the szechuen spicy chicken was no longer an item. We had a gift card so we used it. I had the jambalaya edible. Very commercial here .
