The service provided for our group of 65 people (sports team families) with separate checks was truly exceptional. The staff was adequately staffed and incredibly friendly. The food was also outstanding. Overall, we had an amazing experience.

This was our second year going to Stokes by the Bay, and we were not disappointed. We arrived with a large group and mentioned to the waiter we were in a hurry [boat cruise}..drinks and food all arrived quickly ..food was hot and delicious!...waiter was nice. Husband had the bang bang shrimp and crab stuffed mushrooms, I had the chicken caesar wrap....both were amazing....After the boat cruise we went back to the hotel which was next door, after a few hours we decided to go get something to eat so, with our group being impressed with food earlier we decided to go back ..well trip advisor site said it was open til 2...not the case they closed at 12 ...when we arrived it was 1145 ..disappointed and hungry we went to leave, the manager came out and told us to come back inside [apparently trip advisor wont let them change the settings???] ...long story short they stayed open for us even tho staff was tired and ready to go...thanks Stokes for going above and beyond for us and not turning us away...especially since there were a few tipsy members in our group...lolWe will back again and again :)

I had three other people with me and the waiter said the fish and chips were good. Three of us had fish and chips and one had broaster chicken. The batter on the fish made it look huge actually tooo much batter.When I cut into my piece of fish I could barley find the fish it was all batter. I mean I had to look for the fish and the fries were next to cold. The person that had the broasted chicken was over cooked and dry and she only ate one pcs. out of three. I mentioned it to the waiter but he shrugged it off. The waiter was very nice otherwise. I owned my own restaurant and made fish and chips and these were terrible, so disappointing. My friends said their meals were so terrible. One stated I am never having fish and chips again. Well it was my idea to go there. I guess next time someone else can pick. Aug 2 2017
