Came for dinner today along with my family with great expectations looking after reviews in Zomato. Ambience was good and the service was great. What let us down is the food. Being a South Indian, we were looking for some authentic south food with some good menu. We took set menu for vegetarian and to our shock. It even a single item in the menu felt sumptuous or good. Every recipe of the menu was just ordinary and there was nothing called authentic south food. Just running the mill menu and food. taj Tristar would be a better option compared to Dakshin. Disappointed

Basundi tasted regular. Nothing in the taste stood out for me.

An absolutely scrumptious and wholesome experience at the legendary joint today. Delicious food, amazing ambiance and rich aromos all over. One of the finest south Indian thalis ever. Anthony and Vivek made us feel at home with their hospitality.
