Delight + Restaurant - Saskatoon

We stopped here for lunch on our way through Saskatoon and chose this place because of the good reviews. The service was terrible or non existent and it was 12:45 and most of the buffet was empty and they didn't refill anything while we were there. We complained and asked if it was half price and the lady said no. Will not recommend or be back.

I called in an $80 order an hour before pick up for weekday afternoon. I arrived on time and witnessed them package up about 1/2 the order and was informed that some was still being prepared. I watched the order get cold for 20 minutes and decided that I was not interested in COLD take out. I informed them I was leaving, no explanation, no apology, no offer to discount the order. Too many GOOD restaurants in Saskatoon to go back for that kind of service.

We went for dinner eager to try out this restaurant based on Trip Advisor reviews. The service was good but the restaurant needs drywall repairs paint and a good cleaning. We ordered five dishes for the two of us (always love leftover Chinese food! . The dishes were of significant quantity and came out piping hot. The crab rangoons were terrific! The cashew chicken was terrible (more chicken skin than chicken . The shrimp fried rice was okay (the rice tasted old reheated . The ginger beef lacked any ginger flavour but was very tender. The Shanghai noodles were okay lacked seasoning flavour. Overall, we were very disappointed in the quality of the food. We like to try different restaurants to find a hidden gem but Delight+ wasn’t very good. There are other Chinese restaurants in Saskatoon that provide great food (albeit less quantity .

Found using Trip Advisor. Lots of selection of authentic (not necessarily ‘Canadian’ Chinese food items. Service was pleasant. Ambiance basic. Food was very good. The wrap on the egg roll was the best I ever had. Corn soup and ginger beef also were good chioces.
