Which consisted of sweet and sour pork, chicken balls, chicken fried rice and a spring roll. I the chicken balls were not greasy at all like a lot of places. The sweet and sour pork had no fat on them at all. The fried rice was ok, rice was broken up or something the texture seemed off but was decent. The spring roll wasn't greasy either had good crunch to it and was pretty good. I was quite surprised at how good it was. Spouse had lunch special 1B this meal came with deep fried shrimp, chow mein, sweet and sour pork and a spring roll. The shrimp looked delicious not greasy and were cleaned properly. Spouse wasn't overly impressed with the chow mein though, said it had a slight gas taste to it. But all in all enjoyed the meal.Kid had sate chicken soup. We each tasted the broth. I must say it was very flavourful. All of us said we would come back. A higher rating would have been given but the servers lacked personality. Presumably the owner working the till was an extremely friendly gentleman though.
Amazing food and service. First time going there. The food was delicious, I got to try both the cold and hot spring rolls and I loved their beef ball noodle pho. Great flavors and not too much salt. The owner was very personable and made the experience extremely enjoyable. Would definitely recommend and I will be going back frequently!
1st time and loved it!. Had dinner for 3b all good. Chicken balls and shrimp didn't have too muchv batter, ginger beef was fresh and tastey normally don't like it this was the best ever, chicken noodle dish very good, spring rolls and my nephew lived the vercumilli bowl, wonton soup was the best I had in ages. Glad I was told to try this place out and wasn't overly busy and oily like other restaurants. Owner was very nice and even helped serve and pass the food. Will be back for sure!
Summer Roll's second location. Awesome food they make the best noodle bowl and cold rolls in the city!
Stopped in at the new location on faithful tonight. It was a soft opening so a fixed menu, but good options of both asian and western dishes. We had the chinese combination with fried rice and chicken balls delicious sauce, good amount of chicken, not just breading; and the spring rolls with chicken and vermicelli which was fantastic. They drizzle the spring rolls with fish sauce to begin with which I really liked, the chicken was sauteed in lemon juice so it was very refreshing. I loved that as you got through the dish there was zucchini and sprouts waiting at the bottom. I also had the chinese tea which was delicious, but don't let it steep too long. Tbe new place is very nicely decorated with bright colours and it feels open and inviting. Our whole meal was only $21 and all the people working were so friendly. Looks like this is my new favorite asiian place!
