Kisavos Restaurant & Lounge - Saskatoon

Looking for somewhere different for a night out and decided to try Kisavos after not being for years. The place looks lovely after the flood renovations and the food was wonderful, also big portions for reasonable prices. We will definitely be back!

So l've read a bunch of the online reviews and disagree with a lot of them.  Their food is always good.  l've probably eaten half the items on the menu over the years and l've never been disappointed.  They have the best pizza l've ever had and their dry ribs are great.  Other food that is really good is their seafood, specifically the halibut and salmon.  The soup you get with a meal is good too, no matter what kind it is.  The only two things l would complain  about is the bathroom and sometimes the music in the bar is way too loud.

I've been having a hard time finding a 21 imperial type of quality pizza usually found in Greek restaurants in saskatoon in the past...Venice house is crappie now and since the Mediterranean Inn closed I've tried them all usually dissatisfied and disappointed...and out $32.00...tried kisavos 21 imperial XL last night and it was a home Run!....EVERYTHING was excellent...can hardly wait to order again<br/ <br/ Well was I Wrong! Have now eaten here 2 more times with my family once in the restaurant and once takeout...pizza both times...food poisoning both times along with the people I was with<br/ Called and talked with the manager/ owner and basically told me if I didn't like then DONT order AGAIN, Wtf?... you could tell something was off...just like most places cutting corners as times are getting tough....if will never go back after how we were treated. I will be placing an article in the paper and Facebook...if you don't mind a bit of food poisoning to top off the day and treated like s@%t by the owner then this is the place for you. Also got rotten dry ribs... my dog sniffed them and wouldn't eat them...if had high hopes for this place but

Kisavos is good, but it could definately use a bit of a upgrade (more vegetarian options on GREEK food menu). Good greek salad. It's best to order it here with dressing on the side. I would say upgrade the menu by adding more authentic greek options such as rich (vegetarian) dolmandes, lemon roast potoates, as well as spanokopita's.

Excellent selection of well prepared Greek cuisine. I enjoyed the baby beef liver and soup of the day(avgolemono) and my partner had the pork cutlets with a Greek salad. Large servings so be hungry.
