Nellie's Kitchen - Saskatoon

I've gone past this place so often - finally decided to pop in after reading some reviews. The server was quirky and funny (I think the owner's daughter?). I had the perogies, and they were some of the best I've ever had (including my own home-made). Prices are very reasonable. good location for parking and/or bus stop. Will try to go there again before I leave Canada.

The dry rib lunch special was recommend by lady of the restaurant. I found the meat to be tough and tasteless. I sweet sauce covered everything and there was nothing to impress my taste buds. The gentleman of the restaurant was an unenthusiastic server. I am a fan of Vietnamese restaurants, but from the meal I had, I doubt I would give it another try.

I love noodle bowls, and Nellies has never let me down. They also have a huge menu and North American dishes as well as Asian fare. Very efficient, friendly staff. I have always enjoyed my visits.

Wow!! What a neat place to eat. We both had noodle bowls and they were great!!! Customer service was at our table, 5 times during our meal. Will come again.

Very nicely renovated spot in a strip mall on 22nd and Ave.H. Menu is diverse, Diner fare, Vietnamese and Ukrainian lol. Surprisingly they seem to do each thing well!. I had an amazing housemade burger. My companions had a Denver omlet and a beef barley soup. Both were highly recommended.
