The pita bread is soft, the lamb is well-seasoned, and I really appreciate the option of chopped jalapenos as a topping. I prefer my tzatziki sauce to be a bit thicker, but that's just a personal preference. Definitely recommend ordering the lamb gyro.
This restaurant is fantastic. I adore the food here. It's always fresh and much healthier than other options in the food court. My go-to order is the chicken souvlaki and Greek salad. The grilled meat is not processed and the salad is packed with fresh tomatoes, cucumbers, and green peppers. The staff is always friendly and cheerful. I highly recommend Opa Midtown! Two thumbs up!
Yummy greek fries. I cannot not order the fries when i go. I also love the calamari and the chicken souvalaki pita.
I often go to Opa when I'm out shopping. The calamari is crispy and delicious, but I can't stand the tentacles. I always give those away. The souvlaki is consistently tasty.
Yeah it 's not bad.... It 's in Midtown Plaza food court, so you get that whole 'experience ' if you eat here. The food is fine. It 's cooked up in a relative hurry on the flat grill by unenthusiastic employees, who seem to hate their jobs. <br/ <br/ The Opa! Fries are about as unhealthy a snack as you can get, unless of course you choose to have that with a side of tzatziki sauce, which I can personally guarantee is one of the worst things you could ever eat. <br/ <br/ If you 're looking for a healthy alternative, don 't look here. The meats they use are about as healthy as it gets there, and they 're salty as can be. The bread is white, the salads are covered in sauce and cheese, and the fries are, well, fries.<br/ <br/ In spite of everything I just said, I don 't mind eating here every once in awhile. The food might be bad for you, but it 's pretty scrumptious and relatively inexpensive.
