Our experience at Sushi Date was bu haoWe sat for 20-30 minutes waiting for our sushi rolls to arrive.
The fish quality was excellent considering we are in the prairies... and the speed and attention of the service team was excellent. It seems all prices in Saskatoon are a bit more dear than I am used to so I cannot comment on the lunch ayce price. Where I did notice an area of improvement was in the roll construction. At least half if not more of the filling for the rolls ordered was tempura bits. If I had know. I would have asked for no bits in my rolls. (Too much tempura bits can affect my stomach). Perhaps others like these crunchy morsels but just not for me. A quick lunch stop with my partner and a lovely cup of tea. As we are not from the area probably will not be back.
This is my go to place in Saskatoon. Maybe not the most authentic or best quality, but it is up there with the best. As with most AYCE places the service is slow. Food is fresh, lots of choices, and some options for non-sushi people.
Had supper here and the meal was fantastic and service was extremely quick. could have used some back ground music to add a little ambience.
