Taco Time - Saskatoon

I had lunch at this restaurant yesterday and, as always, it was top-notch! The super beef and taco Tuesdays are unbeatable. Well done once again!

We visited Saskatoon recently from the US and our attention was captured by the "Open for Breakfast" sign outside this Idylwyld location. We cannot recommend this meal enough. This was the best and most reasonably-priced meal that we had our entire 5-day trip. (Large bacon scrambler bowl was $4.29 + tax and will satisfy a very healthy appetite). The breakfast "bowls" are layered with Mexi-fries on the bottom, scrambled eggs, then whatever meat you want and Mexican stuff on top of it. They come in regular and large sizes. The photo shows a large one and you can see if was covered with bacon. The bacon was freshly cooked, too -- not sitting cold somewhere. (There was a bit of a wait -- maybe 5 minutes while the bacon cooked). This location also has the full regular Taco Time menu, and regular day and evening hours. Breakfast only available until 11 (pity). Their taco salad is also excellent.OTHER: located in small strip mall with ample parking. Restrooms were clean. Small seating area, which was very clean. Friendly staff. Would recommend and will return.

We got the Sunday special: five hard or soft tacos for $5. This is a great deal and comes with all the hot sauce you can eat (if you're eating inside). Will most definitely visit here again in the future.

Wow their portion of cheese is almost toooo much. No one can go work with their tatters. Always nice staff at each location.

I stopped in to this Taco Time for a Sunday special - 5 tacos for $5.00. You can't go wrong with that! The service was quick and the staff were friendly. Soft shell tacos were good and filled nicely. Some places only give you a tiny bit of everything and you end up with more shell than filling, but this location seems to get it right. Mexi fries were hot and that was a nice change for getting ones that have been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. Overall, I was impressed by the food and service.
