The Griffin Takeaway - Saskatoon

Today for the first time. we enjoyed everything we tried. sandwiches were huge and very tasty. the peanut butter cookies were amazing, I forgot what I miss, and we tried the peanut butter cake, omg, sooo good. we will be safe again. Thank you.

I'm a zöliakie and enjoy this place, as the food is delicious! but with their mask politics still affect and be extremely courageous and rude about putting one before entering is not for me. I put a mask on, but only to cover my mouth, as I had nasen surgery, and yet they still show ignorance. her personal wears a mask that protects her, no longer demanding that we have to wear masks. I'm sure I'm not comfortable with it, so I won't be back. .

I have no idea how they make the things they taste so amazing! somewhere else I go, that is milk-free or gluten-free. it's obviously subpar, but not here. this is our first option, even if there is no allergy in the group!

Had a friend the handlein, as I was recently diagnosed with zöliakie. I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer amount of options available, I had expected to find a gf section, not a whole bakery! the staff was helpful and friendly. I had some questions about the used mehle and the cashier went happy and asked for me. I tried a few brot and a few tasty things and oh my gott, the cheesecakes were amazing. so much better taste and texture than the food stores I tried. again, thank you, I'm here again.

Although the food is good the staff member continually interrupted me to tell me to adjust my mask (at one point it started to slip down but I apologized and readjusted it to stay up) she then asked if she could give me a second mask to put over my mask as she didn't feel it was good enough. I had to explain that it was quite expensive and specially made impregnated with silver which is antimicrobial to protect myself and others. I respect that some businesses choose to continue the mask mandates that the province has lifted but this was absurd. I left humiliated and frustrated and will never go back.
