We visited this agriturismo for dinner in mid June 2017. I have never visited an Agriturismo before and this was definitely worth the wait. Our booking was undertaken by a local B and B were staying at. The place is run by Enzo and this is a meat feast full of flavour. The venue is up a hill, so you need a strong car to get there…but it is worth it. So much food – starters, cheese, salamis, prosciutto, fresh bread. This was then followed by a food feast of liver with potatoes, meat ravioli, braised lamb and boiled potatoes, suckling pig and roast potato – red house wine and bottled water all included. Dessert was a Sardinian delicacy nice pastry with cheese inside. The service was superb….the servers were smartly dressed, very attentive and pleasant. Washroom facilities were very clean. You could actually even view where the food was being prepared by the Ladies – lovely aroma. To cap it all, the owner Enzo came to speak to us, was so pleasant and ensured we were having a good time. A really sumptuous meal for 30 Euros per head (all inclusive)….great value and totally stuffed. The thing is, it’s not just the volume of food, what stood out was the quality of it…..finely seasoned and very tasteful. Well done Enzo and team!! I strongly recommend you visit this place for a great overall experience
I organised this dinner treat from my bf who is a meat eater. I am not, however I was able to enjoy the locally sourced red wine, the antipasti of cheese, pickled vegetables, ravioli , salad and the delicious dessert called seadas. My partner also had four more courses: gnocchetti alla campidanese, which is a local pasta dish with sausage souce, a liver side dish, sheep stew and porchetto, the famous local piglet rosted in a spitfire. for the price of 40 euros you can really enjoy a feast fit for a king under the stars in the tranquillity of Campanedda.
Typical Sardinian dinner based on local products. mixed appetizer, ravioli and porchcoeddu, seada. few covers, served together by the landlord. difficult to indicate without navigation
Imagine having an uncle in the Sardinian and being invited to dinner at his house. appetizer, first, porceddu, sweet and fruit, all homemade. the environment is more than scattered, but it creates a unique atmosphere. a real experience for those who have the ability to appreciate it.
