This is the perfect spot for a leisurely local meal. The service is outstanding and the food is delectable. While there is a set menu, almost any dish can be customized, thanks to the cook's flexibility. I enjoyed some incredibly light and fluffy buttermilk pancakes, served with a generous portion of fresh fruit. My friends ordered a ham and cheddar omelet, a large bowl of chili, and eggs paired with crispy bacon. Everyone was satisfied with their choices. The secret desserts looked amazing and are another excellent reason to visit. The atmosphere is warm and vibrant, making you feel right at home. Highly recommended!

That was the best dinner I had in a very long time! We started with a fresh salad, served with rosemary bread, it was a well received start to come to the delights....We had a surf and lawn style dinner. The Tenderloin Steak with potatoes was perfectly cooked and delicious for the last bite. The Shrimp Scampi, beautifully presented, was also delicious. I love roasted vegetables and the roasted vegetables served were fresh, colorful and super! We both felt like we had Thanksgiving dinner in a good friend's home in the warm atmosphere. After having a complete dinner, with very generous portions, desert was not on my head. My friend Mark E. Dupre said he wanted to try the Moist Apple cake. It is baked with a freshly made caramel sauce, ice cream, whipped cream, freshly looked apples and cinnamon. Once I tried out this amazing creation that Chrissy called Apple Sundae, I was unable to put my fork down and unnecessarily say a container to go was not necessary. I can't say enough about how satisfied we were! Five stars are not enough!

This hidden gem deserves to be praised from the mountaintops! Meatloaf Monday is absolutely fantastic. We celebrated a birthday and welcomed family visiting from out of town last night with a party of 14. The chef and the staff quickly made us feel like part of their own family, paying attention to our requests and serving us a family-style meal that reminded us of the dishes grandma used to make. If meatloaf isn't your preference, there are plenty of other delicious options as well. Just make sure you save room for dessert! My family and I can’t wait to go back! Thank you for a wonderful experience.

This wonderful place is a Real Find! Staff is warm and welcoming and make you feel at home. Chrissie is a talented chef. Besides her delicious daily dinner specials, she happily will accommodate special requests. Just love her blackened shrimp and cheese grits. Mouth-watering homemade desserts too. Well worth a drive from anywhere!!!
