That's such a beautiful place. we like to eat outside and bring our dog (which can then run on the large open green in front of the restaurant). we've been coming here for years, even since we got vegetarian. this time we were very disappointed. the lookout is still spectacular, but all we have ordered was bland and uninspired (and expensive). it reads well on the menu, but on the plate it simply lacks in taste. our waiter was nice enough first, but then it seemed to us to forget. Maybe he had too many tables, but we saw him flying around with other tables while he took our order forever. once he did, we asked that the brot first come, which did 25 minutes later and 2 minutes above all at once. there was no attempt to give us courses, only plop at once, so the escaped and sides were cold until the time we got through the salat. When we finally saw him again, we asked to see the desert menu and my man asked for an instant cup of coffee. 15 minutes later, we commented on the obvious lack of the waiter when the busboy overheard us and gave our dissatisfaction. we finally got a reasonable service from the waiter, but not without a barely hidden granat. Unfortunately, this is not the place it was once.
I usually appreciate farley much higher than tonight. in the kitchen was something that was obvious. the bartenders were in a group, talking and our server disappeared one. the meals were slowly arriving. this was a disappointing experience, especially because I had contained two friends who had not dined in farley before.
We sat on a beautiful day on the veranda. the view, the table, the service and the menu as well as the basic isolation from the next table added to a very unforgettable experience. we're coming back.
The burger was well done and had aïoli on it, and my husband ordered it medium rare without the sauce. It took 40 minutes to get another one from the kitchen. The noise level was high value is poor.
