The top floor is more of a restaurant setting. The middle floor had a bar and a table seating. Serves the same meme as the top floor. The bottom floor is a bat scene, pool table, live music, and TVs. They also have a pretty good happy hour. 3-7 Mon-Fri. The middle floor is the floor you enter on, so that's where I sent most of my time. Nick, the bartender, was great. He gave me a very detailed review of the full menu which was very helpful since they have unique dishes. I settled on the crabby tots, and wasn't disappointed. I'll definitely be back to try other stuff.
1st let me say bartender Nick is awesome! Probably the friendliest bartender I've ever had. My 1st time at any Rams Head, (I've been wanting to come after seeing my Yelp friends check-ins). He told the history of the different sister facilities, went over the menu, page by page. Pointing out his favorites from each section, starting with appetizers ending with desserts. Explained the different floors of this particular place. It's huge! Upstairs dining room, middle floor where he was bartending and the lower level, pool tables, another bar, live entertainment. Outside area which is open during warmer weather. Not only is he a wealth of information, he makes great drinks! He had all of us sitting at the bar entertained. I wasn't too hungry but wanted to try something from the menu, one of Nick's suggestions was the crabby tots, so delicious! The crab dip on top was creamy with a ton of crabmeat. A lot of extra cheesey goodness on top. The tots were cooked perfectly. Not too overdone unlike other places. Perfect appetizer to share. I'll definitely return to this Rams Head over and over again!
The staff did an excellent job helping me to host a luncheon for almost 20 people. Last minute, we had to add two more seats and not once did I encounter any hesitation or frustration. I appreciated the flexible and friendly service! Food ordering was flawless and came out timely for everyone. Split checks worked out ok, they got the orders right but less than a handful of people just got handed the wrong check so we just swapped it around. I ordered the Korean burger with fries. The burger was nicely grilled with some slaw and comes with an egg which I had overhard. Fries were nice and crispy. There's some parking in the front but more in the back. If you're not familiar with the place it could get confusing. Highly recommend google mapping before you arrive. Update: 1/2 off apps! The Thai chili wings and crab dip is finger licking good!
Kwan T was our server and he was just the best. We first requested to sit upstairs, which was unavailable. Then asked to be seated outside. He was happy to seat us there. Got us our drinks quickly and took our orders. It was *my* first visit but not the first for the boyfriend's parents. All of us enjoyed our dinners, I had the dynamite burger, boyfriend had the cheese steak. His dad had the fish tacos, his mom had a chicken wrap and little sister had the salmon pasta. Kwan surprised us at the end with a root beer float for little sister's birthday and it was just the last awesome detail of a great visit.
I havent been here in a while. I love that this place has 3 levels depending on what your looking for. This review is for the 2nd level restaurant. I arrived on a Thursday evening. Was seated quickly despite that it appeared busy. This place has a lot of seating. Was seated by a nice sweet waitress and the menu has a good selection and over 100s of beer selection. I went with the poor and sour mix drink it was good, would order in the future. The brie fritter appetizer is to fall in love with. The korean burger was good but will try something different next time.
