China Wok - Savannah

I appreciate the convenience of the drive-thru, but the staff doesn't always seem to listen. During my last visit, the wontons were not fried enough and lacked the desired crispiness. They tend to over-fry the sesame chicken, making it too tough. Aside from that, the food is decent, but I do find it a bit pricey.

I know it seems surprising to give a takeout place 5 stars, but let me explain! This place is better than any I've tried in the five years I've lived here. The best part is that they don't substitute zucchini for every vegetable like many others do—I've grown to really dislike zucchini. The flavor here is fantastic, and I didn’t experience any stomach issues, so it’s likely they don’t use MSG.

The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food is both fresh and delicious.

The food was really hot and fresh… however, this has to be the worst Chinese food in Savannah. I wanted to love it I just couldn’t. I ordered the combination plate and that whole order was wrong. The garlic chicken is not garlic. The plate listed chicken rice but they gave me plain white rice. I had to pay for the egg roll separately even though it said one came with the meal. Workers are the best thing there.

BEST take out Chinese Food in Savannah! OMG! Quaint comfortable clean seating area with tables and chairs.Friendly Atmosphere! So good, don’t pass this one up. Don’t be sorry!
