This is one of my girlfriend's favorite spots, and it was my first time visiting. The classic roast beef is truly delicious! As a New Yorker, the atmosphere brought back wonderful memories for me, and I really appreciated that.

This deli is fantastic! It truly captures the New York vibe, from the decor to the food. The staff was fun and friendly, making the experience even better. I tried the Anna Maria sandwich with pasta salad. I'm usually a meat and potatoes kind of person, but this was a refreshing change. The Anna Maria was a fresh, cold sandwich bursting with flavor, and the pasta salad was exactly what I wanted! My husband ordered the Southpaw and a potato knish. The Southpaw was cheesy and savory, and the potato knish was incredible. I'm not usually a fan of blue cheese, but the flavors were so well balanced that I really enjoyed it. We will definitely be back to try more dishes!

Best deli in Savannah. Sandwiches are great. This place does a great job and think they might need to expand soon. Too much goodness at this place. If you need porkroll fix get the Turnpike.Food: 5/5

I visited the establishment for the first time yesterday. When I arrived there were four staff members present in the front area, but there was no greeting. No big deal, it just threw me off a bit. I looked at the menu for a few minutes, then stepped up to the front counter. One of the staff members stood directly in front of me behind the counter. No hello, can I help you, nothing but a stare. She never spoke to me, only stared for what felt like forever, until I said hi and began to order. It was an extremely awkward encounter and the energy in the establishment felt “off.” One staff member who was re-stocking finally asked if I had been helped, which at that point my order had just been taken.I am giving four stars because the food was great… Hoping my next visit will feel a little more welcoming.
