Served me raw chicken and was given absolutely horrible food poison. When they first opened it was so good, I'm very disappointed in this place.
Really good food! Not a franchise, locally owned and operated! Try this place you won't be disappointed :
Sarah Jane's is a lovely jewel in the typical food court madness. I had the fried catfish (2 filets), green beans and mashed potatoes with gravy. Everything is clearly freshly prepared and done so by someone who knows how to cook Southern-style. My catfish was so perfectly prepared: light cornbread coating outside, cooked just to doneness--not hard or greasy--and of course perfectly seasoned. A meal at Sarah Jane's will run you in the neighborhood of $10.
Only one cashier and she had an attitude with us the whole time. It took over 10 minutes and they weren’t offering half the stuff on their menu. I ordered a burger and it tasted like dollar store frozen patties. The mashed potatoes were presented well but once I took a bite they tasted like instant potatoes. It was like pulling teeth to get my drink and the quality of the food made me feel queasy. Would not recommend to anyone I know. Do not waste your time or money here.
