The Public Kitchen - Savannah

I was staying at a hotel nearby and decided to walk to this restaurant. The ambiance is really nice, and food was good. I had grilled shrimp for appetizer, they tasted really good, but I didn?t care for the polenta cake that came with it. Then I had the Carolina burger with truffle fries, and it was delicious. Service was a little slow as the place was packed.

Excellent service. The atmosphere was cozy and very clean. The food was delicious, I had the chicken salad pita with pasta salad, the kids had made from scratch mac cheese and a bacon cheeseburger. The drink menu offered a number of wines and cocktails. Will return.

Worth the wait. Went on a Saturday evening and were told it would be 45 min to sit outside. You can add your name, take a walk, and they will text when table available. You have ten min to get back. Lucked out and found two spots at bar to get some drinks and 15 min later got a table. Got the Savannah Shrimp and Grits, while my buddy had the Venison Burger. Food was delicious and service was friendly. Definitely a nice spot for cocktails and dinner.

Service was very good! Cocktail excellent. My duck was delicious. My husband was over boiled, although tasty, price was adjusted for it. It's a lot to appreciate that they took care of correcting it. Desserts yummy!
