Feedback gevenThis store is only getting worse. From their horrible catering team where they “forget” your order to their self check out Lines were half the machines aren’t working. NOW NOW! a sign stating you can’t shop with a bag?? They took away the baskets. I don’t believe for a sec every basket was stolen) now EVERYONE has to use a cart. For small orders I’d take two bags. One to shop and use the other to transfer my purchases No more says ShopRite. This situation is getting ridiculous. Bring back the baskets. Also ShopRite, look to stores in Europe where they have no problems with self check, no plastic bags but they have baskets. Their self check out area has waist size glass doors and you scan your receipt to have the door open for you. You’re welcome. update Shoping baskets have returned to this location.
I usually have a quick, pleasant experience. But lately, the self checkout lines are the worst. Before I would scan, bag if i wanted to, and pay. Now the self checkout is 20 items or less and everytime you scan something, you have to put it on the scale, (which is slow or doesn't even work) if i ever want to change something, I have to get an employee to login and even when i am clearly having problems, the employee will look at my machine and me and walk away, (can't they see whats going on). Idk what shoplifiting the store has been seeing but I do not think it justifies the inconvenience and implementing complex procedures just to check out. I rather drive further away now to walmart to buy food
Unfriendly front-end self-checkout worker. Went to self-checkout because every self-checkout register was open and available and there was a line for the only open regular checkout. Immediately after I started scanning my order, the woman supervising self-checkout told me I couldn 't go there because I had more than 20 items. When I said I didn 't think that I had more than 20, she told me that each bagel in the bag of bagels I had was an individual item and proceeded to take items out of my cart and count them. When I continued scanning the items in my cart, she said, We 'll see what the register says. As I was scanning my items, she was turning people away from the empty self-checkout area because she thought they had more than 20 items. Then when I had 2 more items to scan she yelled from the computer at self-checkout, See! You have more than 20 items! Then came up to my cart and proceeded to sticker every item in it while counting them and loudly lecturing me that next time I couldn 't use the self-checkout for an order as big as this. I had 22 items. What is the point of having at least 12 self-checkout registers if you are not going to let people use them? Also, what kind of example of customer service is Shoprite setting by having someone harass a paying customer over 2 extra items? Never have I had someone be so obnoxiously rude and embarrass me like this while I am shopping.
Dirty store. Only 2 cashiers. Did I say how dirty and the fish were spoiled. Avoid this store at all costs. Ewwww. Never again discusting
We met the Cashier name Mary and she was so kind and so professional. Shop Rite is our community place to shop.
