Leyza Restaurant Bar - Sayulita

We came just for the view and a round of drinks. It's fun to watch the little downtown area come alive and catch a bit of sunset. Service is pretty quick and friendly. Can't rate the food but the salsa they brought with the chips had some heat!!

We stopped in for a drinks and snacks. We had the nachos and they were good. We did sit at the tables outside on the street and every vendor around managed to hit us up to purchase something. I felt they were a bit more persistent than usual. If you want some quiet table conversation be sure and sit inside.

Bad food, decent service and drinks. Not inexpensive. I guess they can stay in business because of unsuspecting tourists. The only thing to recommend this was a gracious host. Avoid!

We should have followed our instincts as we walked up the 3 flights of step to get to the top balcony. Every table was empty, on a Friday night. The only saving grace was the cool view but I think that is all they have to offer. The mojito's were really bitter and really watered down. They had no chille rellanos. They rice was definitely chock full of margarine. The service was horrible. It took forvever to get mediocre fish tacos and fajitas. Wish I had cell service at the time because I would have read all of these bad reviews first! Avoid it. Go to Mary's down the street. That is worth it!

Terrible place. Food was average but the waiter was a fool. He spoke perfect English but continuously messed up our order and never came to check on us for more drinks. It took forever to get our food (like an hour). Then when we asked for the bill he said he'll be back in AWHILE. we got our bill finally, paid it and left. No tip. Stay away from this place at any cost.
