Malaysian Restaurant - Scarborough

Such a lovely family running this place. Haven't dined in but get takeaway often and never waited more than 15 minutes.

The food was more Chinese than Malaysian. Very reasonable prices. Service was quick and the Chinese tea was good. Good for a cheap bite. Not the best or worse I've had, worth a try

Food and service was great,we had 6 dishes and all were excellent. The shandy fish is great.For dessert try the deep fried ice cream.

One wonders why this restaurant sells cheap meals ? The reason is quite simple, the food is terrible and does not meet the basic standards of a reasonable Chinese restaurant. I wouldn't feed their lunch special to my dog let alone their main meals appear cooked by stale or recycled cooking oil!Definitely one to miss is their deep fried ice cream ! Looks and tastes like it had been deep fired a few times and tastes absolutely horrible !Used to support this restaurant but Never again !Give it a miss is you are looking for reasonable Chinese cooked from the heart and not in a shoe string budget !

If you want tasty and very affordable chinese food this is the place you must visit or have take away from.I would strongly advise to book even if it is during the week as most nights it's packed.The family that own this restaurant are really nice and friendly.As we go regularly they have our table ready for us.It's the little things that make you feel special.The Honey Chicken is the best and not much batter. Great size meals and you can also have lunch for $8.50 which includes selected dishes with rice, tea and coffee included.We travel from kallangur as it's our favourite.
