Feedback gevenI have to be honest, the food was just average at best. The water glasses and cutlery were not cleaned properly, and there are no washrooms available for customers. I’m baffled as to how they are allowed to operate a dining establishment without one. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place for Hakka food; it’s a last resort at best.
The customer service here is very irresponsible and lackadaisical. If you order over the phone, make sure to repeat your order multiple times and take note of the name of the person who took your order. I ended up leaving without picking up my food because my order was a complete mess.
I had a frustrating experience with the service at this restaurant. I ordered three chopsticks and extra noodles for pickup, but when I got home, they only gave me two containers of noodles instead of the four I requested. I called to let them know, and they told me to come back and pick up the extra containers. It's incredibly inconvenient for me to drive back from Ajax, especially considering the time and gas involved. I'm truly disappointed with their service.
We stopped there for brunch with three families (14 people). The place was nice and clean, the staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. Everything was fresh from scratch and served hot on the table. We left extremely satisfied. I highly recommend them for your Chinese dine cravings.

The food delivery took over an hour, and when it finally arrived, I immediately noticed that it didn’t look right. I decided to give it a try, and to my horror, the taste confirmed my suspicions it was stale and had a completely off putting flavor.To make matters worse, after consuming the food, I fell severely ill. I experienced fever, nausea, dizziness, and weakness, clearly indicating food poisoning. This incident forced me to leave work early and ruined my day entirely.I contacted SkipTheDishes customer service, and while they were responsive, their initial offer of a refund for the affected items didn’t address the seriousness of the situation. I expected a more proactive approach and better compensation given the severity of my illness.I am deeply disappointed by the lack of quality control and concern for customer safety. I urge others to think twice before ordering from Chopstick House through SkipTheDishes, as this experience has left me not only physically unwell but also thoroughly dissatisfied with their service.
