Fuwa Fuwa Japanese Pancake

Very rude and unprofessional staff, I was going by the place and I urgently required a Napkin as I spilled something on me. I asked the staff for a Napkin and the cashier rudely replied saying she can’t give me a tissue unless I buy something. That is something very unprofessional please take strict action against such staff members who spoil reputation of the brand.

This drink is one of my absolute favorites. It was incredibly tasty with just the right balance of flavors. The biscoff added a delicious touch. I couldn't get enough of it - definitely addictive.

The food at Fuwa Fuwa is delicious, especially their croffles crafted with popular flavors. I recommend it as a go-to dessert spot. However, the service was terrible and the seating area was not clean. I waited 25 minutes for my Biscoff Croffle, which was served on a small paper tray that ruined the presentation. The croffle itself was a good mix of soft and crunchy, with light toppings that complemented the dough well. Unfortunately, the workers were not friendly and seemed miserable. A worker even scolded me for using a provided garbage bin, adding to the unpleasant experience. I suggest trying Fuwa Fuwa at a different location with better service. My tipping experience also left me questioning whether or not to tip in similar small establishments with poor service.

Whether it'd be the downtown location or the uptown location, or a new location- Fuwa Fuwa doesn't disappoint! The newest location I'm aware of is the STC location and I went there once to service them for tea time. I didn't have much appetite one day to eat any proper full-course meals so I thought to get desserts only to try and gain my appetite back. Along with my tim horton's coffee, I saw pancakes on the same floor I was at so I decided to buy their signature original souffle pancake and another savoury flavoured croffle to try. It was quite a long wait despite it being a food court version of the original restaurant but the staff there told us the time expected to wait for our food to be ready so I wasn't too upset. I liked that both franchise locations kept up with this good habit of letting customers know and kept the consistency of the food pretty ok. The food was ready and it was still the warm, fluffy and jiggly pancakes I remember! Not too sweet (which is to my liking) but still very filling!! The croffle was the first time I tried something like that and it was very nice! Warm and crunchy! Well done!

The girls serving were very very nice! But this isn't the best soufflé pancake I had in my life.. however, they are still very soft and jiggly. The seating arrangement is not good at all. Can get busy with limited seating.
