Fantastic Chinese takeout! The owners are incredibly kind, and the prices are very affordable!

This takeout food court is quite popular and receives good ratings in my Facebook group, which is why I decided to try it. It's located on the second level of a Chinese mall. The portions and quality are quite good for the price – just $6.99 plus tax. The stall is bright, clean, and features two seafood tanks with live lobsters. I noticed that their lobster noodles are only $19, so I’ll give that a try next time I visit. Just a tip: be sure to call and place your order at least 20 minutes in advance to avoid a long wait.

The Christmas and New Year set dinner is an incredible value. The food quality is excellent, and the price is hard to beat—just $69 for such a generous portion. I even paid extra for an additional serving of noodles. The restaurant is situated in a food court and can get quite busy at times, so be prepared for a wait or consider calling ahead to place your order.

Went by one day and notice how clean for such a food court restaurant. Today i decided to order a lobster set meal for 4 and was very impressed not only by the portion but the quality of the food. Everything was delicious including the soup. Lobster tastes fresh and meat is tender and chewy. I really hope they can stay in business and people started to know such place.

I have received take out from this little place in Scarborough many times now and have never been disappointed. They have a large group of devoted customers that come from all over the GTA. I've even gotten my friend hooked on Papa Kay's Singapore noodles. They don't use MSG and the food is always flavourful. It's just a tiny shop on the 2nd floor of the Oriental Centre and the food is prepared by the owner and his wife so they take very good care and pride in what is prepared. They have set family menus (i.e. dinner for 4, etc), lobster dinners, etc. that are good deals. Groceries are so expensive these days that sometimes it's just better to pay to have someone else cook it when the cost is almost imperceptible given the hassle of prepping and cleaning up afterwards. The place is clean and bright. Since COVID, it's best to call in your order and also make sure they are open before arriving as their hours and days off are not as consistent as pre-COVID due to shortage of labour, etc. They used to have helpers but since COVID, it's just been the two of them. SO CALL BEFORE ARRIVING SO NOT TO WASTE YOUR TIME but it's worth the trip if they are open. They also cater but need advanced notice.
