Munchies - Scarborough

Skip the dishes; don't replace items. My entire order was messed up, and they can't even follow simple instructions. I've given this place several chances, and they've consistently failed. I wouldn’t recommend spending your money or time here. I definitely do not recommend it to anyone, especially in this COVID era when they can't even adhere to basic dining guidelines.

I was really hoping this restaurant would live up to the pictures. I ordered the Munch boxes because they looked appealing, but I found the options to be quite limited with no alternatives available. To make matters worse, the prices were far too high for food that was only decent, aside from the bang bang shrimp, which was good. After spending $65 and waiting 45 minutes, I ended up having to go somewhere else to eat.

We had seen enticing pictures and videos before deciding to try this place, but what we received was far from what was promised. The prices are exorbitant for the low quality of food served, and it tasted like it had been poorly prepared. We ended up throwing most of it away. I've attached a photo to show how our meal differed from what was advertised—there was hardly any coleslaw, mango salsa, or butter chicken as claimed. It’s clear that the food quality here is lacking. Save your money and consider getting the same fries from Costco instead. Most importantly, it’s best to skip this restaurant altogether.

I tried this place for the first time! I liked the service and the guy was super nice and excited about eating! really great prices for the quality of food. the food was great, will it come again?

It was my first time going to Munchies. After looking at the menu I asked for a recommendation. I was told that the Spicy Chicken burger was their Ultimate. So I ordered the Spicy Chicken Burger AND TIPPED because of the friendly gesture of helping me decide. After waiting for 20 mins I received what seemed to look like a really DARK colored bun (really hard and dried), with the chicken that was Undercooked and smelled like Old Oil and was fried to a CRISP. It was topped off with some purple onion sauce. I can honestly say without any exaggeration that I had Diarrhea right after. Definitely won't be going back there at all nor am I recommending it. STAY CLEAR OF THE SPICY CHICKEN BURGER!!
