They a good enough list to choose from.<br/ <br/ Ice cream was tasty for me and not super creamy which is a good thing. A great place for ice for sure.
Yaass! I like this place!<br/ <br/ Came here on a weekend with my friend after dinner (around 9-ish . Usually at thai ice cream places, the line up is usually crazy. But at QQ Thai Ice Cream, it wasn't that bad of a line up. We waited a max of 10 mins to get our ice cream.<br/ <br/ I'd recommend the:<br/ <br/ MANGO TANGO (4/5 <br/ <br/ It was topped with fresh mangos and a cookie. They also drenched this with condensed milk (MY FAV LOL . I was basically sold when I knew condensed milk was part of this. The ice cream had a milky mango flavour to it, very delicious! I'd come back for more :
A very small and decent place with just a couple tables to be seated. The ice cream is light and didn't melt soon. They have a variety of options and ads-ons to experiment from and I absolutely enjoyed everything I tried. It's a self service place and people in the store are extremely polite. Good ice cream at affordable prices.
The latest dessert trend to hit Toronto this summer has been Thai rolled ice cream, made with fresh ingredients and cream on a chilled steel surface. The ingredients like fresh fruit and cookies are “chopped” with two pastry scrapers on the steel pan and provides the flavour for the ice cream. As the cream and ingredients get chopped together, the chilled surface freezes the cream, transforming the mixture into a creamy texture. Made popular on the streets of Thailand and on phone screens globally via Instagram, the dessert is now available at many locations throughout the GTA. QQ Thai Ice Cream is one shop in Scarborough serving up the new treat.
I’ve tried a couple of other Thai ice cream rolls now and I have to say that this was one of the best tasting Thai ice cream rolls I’ve ever had! The flavour was rich, it was made with real fruit, and it was unique in that if you chose two flavours, they could actually be mixed together into one roll. They also finished each cup with an assortment of fruits, cookies, fruit loops, or Pocky sticks according to which flavour(s) you ordered.
