Bonnet Sons - Scarborough

You can choose between self-service downstairs and waitress service upstairs in this cafe. Good choice of meals and a cafe that is well thought of by the Scarborough locals. The chocolates that they make and sell are a bonus.

Myself and my partner had a great coffee and small lunch here during the summer, food was good quality and well prepared, coffee was well made and the staff went above and beyond what you expect from a seaside cafe waitress. Really worth the few quid more this place costs over the other cafes.

Following a complete lack of any service at a cafe opposite this one, my hubby and I walked out and instead went in to Bonnet Sons. The breakfast we got was delicious, piping hot and served with a smile very quickly. We'll definitely be back, the only place to go for a fantastic cooked breakfast on Huntriss Row. Excellent.

Often come for Sunday lunch. Food great and staff (upstairs) are always helpful and remember us.

My friend and me had a lovely lunch. It was good value for money, excellent coffee, good ingredients and the cakes were superb! Food came quickly after we ordered and everything had been thought of. Great food and great service, a nice treat!
