Fish and chips, mushy peas, bread and butter and a cup of tea, A perfect lunch for a trip to the seaside. Cosy restaurant on a day with biting wind outside. Very friendly staff.

Wow! Quite literally the best fish and chips we have ever had. We very nearly missed this gem too, having picked out a fish restaurant nearby, but on arrival they didn’t accept dogs. This worked massively in our favour as CJ’s welcome dogs with open arms and I can’t imagine we could have tasted fish and chips any better than we had here. We’re telling everyone we know to head to Filey and eat at CJ’s! We’ll be back.

Just had tea here with our large noisy family consisting off adults dogs and children,, we were made incredibly welcome and not made to feel like we were in the way or spoiling the ambience. The food was great aswell, delicious fish and chips,, and the kids got complimentary biscuits and the dogs complimentary sausages! Definitely recommend this fish and chip cafe in Filey, warm and welcoming .

Lovely little fish bar ,great staff and fantastic tasty fish , also do take away . So if you visit Filey and fancy a fish C.Js is the place .

We always head for this fish n chip shop every Filey visit. The food is great every time and the staff are welcoming and friendly. Nice atmosphere and good selection on the menu. Love it here!!!
