Dotty's Vintage Tearoom - Scarborough

This tea room is simply amazing to visit. The beautiful old world decor is even more stunning at Christmas time. The food and drinks are amazing and the owner is fabulous. It is always a must for tea and delicious cake.

There was a sign outside encouraging people to go inside and we are so pleased we did! Dottys is a little gem. We only had room for tea and a teacake (him) and tea and a piece of yummy Victoria Sponge (me) but we are sure everything is delicious! All served by super friendly people too. The hot chocolates looked simple AMAZING! When next in Staithes we'll be back.

We keep coming back to this restaurant year after year and always look forward to our visit when we're in Whitby. After a walk along the Cleveland Way towards Saltburn, we stopped at Dotty's for a delicious coffee and cheese scone. My husband loved his hot chocolate and bacon roll. The staff was friendly and welcoming as always. Can't wait to come back next year!

The restaurant has a charming atmosphere and the service is friendly. The food is fresh, and they had no problem accommodating my gluten free needs so I was able to enjoy the mackerel pate, which was delicious. I even got the recipe from the lady. The chai latte was also excellent. Overall, it was a great dining experience. Thank you.
