The bread was stale and tasted of perfume! Cheap slices of bread for an overpriced meal!..I won’t be going back here again!
Called here with my daughter and partner at 5pm the other saturday. We had already eaten lunch and just wanted a coffee and a slice of cake. We was told by an older member of staff that the tea room was closed.... even though the cake cabinet was full...
Walker’s tea rooms are in East Ayton on Main Street, and they are well worth a run out from town. We had a lovely drive along Forge Valley, which brings you out right opposite Walkers.
8 of us went to walkers for lunch. 3 had cups of coffee and 5 had tea, we were given 2 tea pots which they said were large but we only had 1 1/2 cups each. The drinks were brought when we ordered the food and by the time the food arrived the drinks were cold. Average service from the staff, nothing out of the ordinary. Food ok but throught that it was over priced for what we had.
This tearoom us joined to the larger fish restaurant.
