Blast From The Past Too Diner

A OK Diner if you have no other breakfast options. The food is amazingly average. Nothing is unique. The service is really hit or miss. The decor is fixed in the creepy valley of the Diner style. It feels more fake than it should. There are significantly better breakfast options in the area with better food and atmosphere. You can do anything better here.

I've been here for years and my last two visits were more than disappointed. Yesterday my wife and I ordered burgers and a small order of onion rings. The onion rings were different, but delicious. The burgers on the other side were terrible. I ordered my medium and it was an ice hockey puck that even extra ketchup and Mayo did not taste the way over boiled dry meat, which had a quite crisp in every bite. $40 plus tip with lime and coffee. Pretty sure we were calculated for refills. It won't be back soon. The staff was great. To the owner's answer. No, I didn't pick up the burnt food because it took a long time to get out and we returned to Boston. The purpose of reviewing and all reviews I do is to give honest answers to how a meal was served. A responsible restaurant would never have sent out food that was burned. We have food up to $28 plus coffee and soda and the bill was 40 and change.

Blast from last dinner has become our food when we are in the Scarborough area. We had a variety of meals, from lobster roll to turkey dinner, and had no one we would not order again. The baked Schellfisch is particularly good and fresh. Prices are also very reasonable compared to other restaurants serving a similar menu. Can't wait to try a new menu item.

Fabulous Diner Abigal great server. Has old style nostalgia with great food. We have 2 designs of beers, Hubby ordered Shepard's cake with Cole Slav, I have Lobster's role with house salad. I would say the best prices in Maine now and is just YUM! $25,99... the place was packed at 3:00 in the afternoon. The accounts were below $50.00. Would completely recommend traditional diner menu.

Nice diner but unfortunately compared to the numerous positive reviews, we must have visited on an off day. Our party waited about an hour and a half for our food. The table next to us received their entrees much faster despite sitting down ~45 minutes after we did. Appetizers came out very sporadically, some were cold, a few items were messed up, and the diner seemed understaffed in general.
