Finfresh Seafood & Cafe - Scarborough

I placed an order that took over 1.5 hours to arrive. When it finally did, the food was cold, soggy, and waterlogged. The restaurant claimed it was not their fault, but rather the fault of the delivery service. The woman I spoke with was rude the entire time, offering to remake the order but only if I came back at 7pm (even though I had ordered at noon). The shellfish special was deep-fried and bland, likely overcooked. When I tried to ask for a refund, she was too busy dealing with a phone call. I had to reheat the food at home and it was still tasteless. Overall, not worth ordering a $20 plate of soggy, oily chips from this place.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I ordered a child-sized fish and chips and it was perfect! The oil was fresh, the chips were well-cooked, and the fish was juicy. Overall, it was a perfect meal and the service was friendly. I will definitely be back.

This restaurant was a let down. There were no smiles when our food was served. We ordered food and two beers, but were told they couldn't serve alcohol "because of COVID." I inquired about the specific restrictions, as we had chosen this place for that reason. The server was abrupt and mentioned that it was what the boss had instructed. The food was all packaged in disposable containers, despite us saying we were dining in - a disappointing waste. The worst part was the tough and tasteless meat dishes, which were completely inedible. However, the cod chips and potato scallop were quite tasty.

We orded chips, steak burger and a chiko roll it was over price and what should wait a 40-minute 1 and a half hour after complaining. no apologies were offered. it won't eat again.

Had takeaway from Fin fresh yesterday and was impressed with the qualtiy of food calamari was tender, potato scallops light and crispy and fish delicious. Huge portions sizes too. Would highly recommend this seafood cafe.
