The prices are very expensive due to the unique "health food" label thats added to all the meals. Dont understand the rave about the place but its okay.
Today we ordered the Moroccan chicken salad, the salmon, and sweet potato fries, along with the 'slimmer' and a green smoothie. After our meal we tried the cowhip soft serve. I love the concept of health Freak! It's so very inclusive, catering for paleo, vegan, vegetarian, lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, and those who are watching their waistline (calorie content is included in each menu item, along with protein, carb etc). The food came out reasonably quickly, and I was impressed by the flavours, freshness and presentation. The chicken salad was huge and had heaps of chicken too (hard to believe only 400 calories) and the salmon could have easily come from an upmarket restaurant. I enjoyed my smoothie but my dining partner felt there was too much ginger in his. I thought the prices were pretty good for the mains, but at $8 the smoothies were a bit steep. The cowhip was $7 for a small soft serve tub, which I thought was a bit crazy. I've been to health Freak in my Lawley, which has a pretty decent dining area, but this one was a bit on the small side, you would struggle with a larger group of 4 or more. Overall I was very pleased and would be happy to return.

Honestly an overhyped place. I've been here a few times, the acai bowl is too under average, not the best around. The 'cookies and cream' smoothie which I believe is vegan was sooo sickly sweet ????, at least the one I had, it was almost impossible to finish. Also, I've had their 'matcha coco whip' worst thing ever! Small portion of a soft serve like whip, with little flavour of matcha. Biggest rip off and the sizing is ridiculous for the price you're paying for tbh. Might as well get a 50 c cone from maccas with that. Since the place is usually busy, which is why service takes awhile but staff are very friendly :) DONT BUY THE COCOWHIPS
If you want to order a salad for takeaway wait over 40 minutes ask where it is to be told they gave it to someone else after giving your name at time of order get told they will remake and will be ready in 5 mins wait another 10 then get told it will take another 5 minutes this is the perfect place to go to. Not for me got my money back and left never to return. Save your money and head somewhere else plenty of better options ????
