Straits Cafe - Scarborough

Had the supposed scallops prawns etc. on the lunch menu, quite a cold dish, scallops were lightly warm and only cooked, cooked and cold refrigerator, cold purse, not what I expected if I had read the description, "cold plate" or salad. the big plus this restaurant is the lookout, so scratched dirty window makes it no gunst. Terrible personal. a terrible service. the breakfast on Sunday, the tellers were stinking, the buffet was terrible and they charge extra $5 for omlette.

We went to lunch here on a Monday that is not even busy. but every time we wanted water to be filled, we had to ask. came here to order two midday specialties, then was said we cannot use the entertainment book card because it is cheap enough. no very tactical answer from a personal who works in a 4 star hotel. even if there was any clause that we cannot use the maintenance book at the end of lunch specialties.

We came after purchasing a voucher on Scoopon. Food was okay, nothing to shout about. Fish was a tad over cooked and tough, but the rest was fine. Positives: generous portions and good views of the beach.
