Moscato - Scarsdale

Sunday noon in the middle of July. The sky is clear with a warm but not hot temperature. The atmosphere is clean, quiet, pristine, and with a classic flare. We had some Fresh muscle in a tomato base soup for appetizer and some Calabrese pizza and Spaghetti Allo Scoglio. Would say it was a perfect way to spend a weekend outing.

Delicious pasta. I was overjoyed to see a traditional carbonara and not the other americanized versions that have become all top common (cream, no eggs, the list goes on... . Their eggplant app was delicious, 5/5. The amatriciana had a great kick, just wished there was a bit more meat. Probably our favorite Westchester Italian restaurant next to Burrata.

I recommend this restaurant to everyone! Took my extended family there when they were in town for my wedding. The restaurant easily accommodated our large group and the food was amazing. My aunt and uncle were just recently in Italy and commented that the food at Moscato is on par with the delicious food they had while on vacation. Definitely try the crispy artichoke while you are there!

So I took my wife, mother and sister in law with our two kids on mother’s day. Once we ordered our food it took well over an hour to receive it. They first brought my mother’s food out by itself, So we waited to see if the rest of our food was coming out shortly after. Well it took about 25 minutes for everyone else’s food to come out. By that time her food was ice cold. Than someone came in with a huge dog at a fine dining place we overheard a table next to us being read the specials of the night which no one informed us. No one that worked there had a clue what they were doing. Please think twice before coming here.

Everything was great will go back again for sure! Salvatore is awesome!
