Fox Hound - Schaumburg

Upon our arrival with a reservation, we were met with a rude hostess who claimed we didn't have one. We ended up sitting at a table in a high-traffic area, despite most of the dining room being empty. On the positive side, our waiter was attentive, and there was a good variety of food options. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals. We would consider returning, but would speak to the managers if that rude hostess was present again.

Whether you have a reservation or not, they seem to ignore it completely. We had reserved a table for six, but when we arrived, no one had any idea what we were talking about. It felt as though they were annoyed by our presence. The service was lacking and quite slow.

This is a lovely restaurant for a quick bite and a relaxing atmosphere. Our server, Jessie, was friendly and pleasant. As for parking, it’s free, although the spaces can get a bit crowded.

Thanks to the manager Matt and wonderful staff who offers a family that manages food allergies, tranquility of the mind and sense of normal in your institution. You took the time to answer our questions before our visit and even stopped to confirm menu items when it came. In any case, more than 5 stars would give if I could!

It was a perfect location for our event—kids and parents after an athletic event. The kids played pool and shuffleboard after the food was served and everyone had a great time! It’s a good value for the area!
