Maoz - Schaumburg

I did not enjoy the falafel I ordered at this restaurant. The staff member in charge seemed indifferent and somewhat rude. The ingredients did not match the description. I do not plan on returning.

The restaurant offers lentil soup, falafel, hummus, salads, and lemonade. The food tastes good, but a falafel bowl and lemonade will cost you around $22.

Oh my goodness. The vegan rice pudding at this restaurant is amazing. I had forgotten how much I missed good rice pudding. They make it with soymilk.

I'm so glad that this place opened up in the Woodfield! There are only two toppings which are not vegan and unfortunately they do serve chicken but other than those three items the entire restaurant is vegan friendly. This is my wife and my favorite fast food stop, she loves the falafel pita sandwich with the broccoli and cauliflower salad. My favorite is the bowl with brown rice (which is well seasoned), falafel, toppings, and drizzled with tahini. You also get a lot of food for your price too, especially for the bowl. Highly recommend if you find yourself in Woodfield Mall with an appetite.
