Morrette's King Steak House

Wow! What a fantastic atmosphere! As soon as you step through the door, you’re transported to a different era. We were torn between sitting at the counter to watch the cooks in action or choosing a booth to soak in the entire experience. We decided on the booth and had a great time, especially since we needed the space for the incredible King Steak Sandwiches, onion rings, and fries... oh, and let's not forget the best shakes ever! We absolutely loved it. Thank you for preserving this iconic spot. We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic steak sandwiches. Since I don't live in NY anymore, this place is always on my list to stop by when I'm in town visiting. The owners are keeping this Schenectady landmark alive and are doing a great job at it. Keep up the good work guys.

An Electric City favorite since 1947! I encourage residents and visitors alike to support a wonderful, locally owned restraint like this! Their King thin-sliced rib eye steak sandwich is their signature meal.

They have the best and biggest fair priced steak sandwiches. Love them. Every time I come back to NY I have to go there

The Jethro Burger the Best Rare **** greatness was upon me, I felt like it was an Honorary Last Meal, didn't realize I loved myself that much to treat myself so well. God bless the employees at Morettes!!!!
