Pilot Travel Center - Schenectady

I am a over the road driver. I stop at pilot/ flying J truckstops all over the country. I stopped at this particular truckstop a little while ago a week 10 days maybe. And the evening clerk charged me .55 for ice in my own container, when I questionedhim about this because no other pilot/flying J does that. He told me it was a new order straight down from corporate that theyhave to start charging. Since that day I had driven to Texas then back up to Minnesota now I?m in Washington state. Not onepilot/flying J truckstop has charged me for ice in my own container. Yes it is only .55 but it makes me question the integrityand the honesty of their employees. Just be careful listen closely and watch what you do. If they?ll lie to get an extra .55oout of somebody it makes me wonder what they will do to get even more money out of people.

Very rude staff- waited to take a shower the cashier said we had to go to the back of the line to take a team shower after already waiting 45 min, last time I was here I waited over an hour for a shower, no water pressure-small lot not much parking,only 3 showers ??????

This is a great stop during long drives from Maine to western New York. I can always count on the restroom being clean, and the gas prices are fair. I usually grab a Subway sandwich to take with me, but there are plenty of other choices available as well. It suits my needs perfectly!

This is a small location with just a subway and Dunkin' Donuts. The parking lot is reasonably sized, but it tends to get crowded since there aren't many other options nearby. I've noticed several instances of trucks being damaged by other drivers here. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is that it's just 2 miles from my delivery destination. It's situated near several warehouses, and the exit is only about half a mile from I-90. I only come here when there are no other choices available.

This gas station is great! It's very clean and has everything you could possibly need. The peach slushie is fantastic!
