Whisky Business Bakery - Schenectady

I worked with Bri for my wedding, I just got married at the Maples Estate in early September. We did a small cake for my husband and I to cut, then macarons and cupcakes. Bri was truly one of my absolute favorite vendors to work with! It was so fun and collaborative. I shared our design board and some inspiration photos we had for our wedding, and Bri took it from there! Everything was beautiful, just so cute and all of her desserts are absolutely fantastic! Bri was so good about helping with numbers and figuring out what we needed, which was perfect. She also gave was super clear instructions for what needed to be refrigerated/what we needed to do to make sure the desserts were perfect by serving time.A few flavor shoutouts are necessary! First, Bri made us a custom fruity pebbles macaron flavor which was amazing and so fun, we love breakfast and wanted something to match that. The crème brûlée macaron is a MUST! The salted caramel cake and frosting is just wow. And a surprise combo for us, brown butter cake and creamsicle frosting is so tasty, we highly recommend!

I don’t live far from this bakery but I have never stopped there until recently because they don’t open until 10 am which normally doesn’t work for me. I picked up 12 cupcakes to take to a bday party and I have to say, I was not impressed at all. Although they were nicely decorated with frosting, I found it dry and had very little flavor, and frankly so did others who tried them. I will go back to try the macarons because I’ve heard from multiple people that they are outstanding. Once I try the macarons, I will be back with hopefully a better review.

An amazing bakery with the most kind and accommodating staff. I’ve been a customer for years and am never disappointed. Brie made me a custom macaron tower for my store grand opening and it was a huge hit. Her macaron ice cream sandwiches are out of this world. They are a one woman bakery so don’t walk in expecting a ton of premade cakes like at the grocery store. She’s an artist and will create something gorgeous for you if you just plan ahead a little ?

Cupcakes and meringue kisses were delicious! definitely recommend going there for your sweets! i still have to try the macarons but they looked delicious and well made! five stars!

SAVED THE DAY FOR MY DAUGHTERS SWEET 16!! THE MACAROONS WERE AMAZING AND EXACTLY WHAT SHE REQUESTED. THEY WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND AND EVEN MADE MY DAUGHTERS FAVORITE RED VELVET AS A SURPRISE.
