We were there on the second Christmas holiday with the whole family and could collect some impressions. As a learned cook, I might also have an opinion on things a normal guest does not see. Especially my greatest respect... In the foreground were only 3 service employees, the boss and a cook. The hall is really full, but not unpleasant. At no time, you had the feeling that something is out of control. On the contrary, it was like a working cycle. Special highlight were the flambient beer at the neighboring table and a birthday party of an older lady, warmly welcomed by the staff. The hall is very decorated, but wonderfully it has its charm. Personally, the menu was somewhat confusing and the selection was very large. I think the development of less is actually cheaper in gastronomy. But with the wealth of variations, you can handle very well with the deer. Vegetarians also have a good choice here. Back to our table. The beverage service was very good. For empty glasses without being intrusive, she was asked for drinks. The duration of the order to serve the food was very fast for the guest filling. Only that the food of the children came to the end is a little criticism. The dishes themselves were very good. Of course, abundant and no Etepetė Getue on the plate. Classical dishes to the point. I had table top... The meat is very delicate.. All were very enthusiastic at our tables. Only the meat from my husband's BBQ spear was a bit dry. I noticed two things that don't break the food pleasure. The fried things were partly very dark, but only on the surface, as if the grill plate had already worked hard a day and the children got ketchup at the table in a squeeze bottle. Sure it is resource-saving, but with it came a bit of snack flair to the table. My conclusion of the visit to the Golden Deer... Classical, but not old-baked service, a good solid kitchen with tasty bourgeois dishes at moderate prices. For us an address that comes back... thank you!
