Weltrad An Der Elbe

We aspect a nice Restaurant Trip. The ambiente was quite chic. However, the food was an improved Cafeteria food. Two dishes were way to salty. The waitress was snooty and takes hours to serve us. The ecological aspect is terrible the Steaks are coming from around the world, Australia, New Zealand and USA. No vegearian or vegan food. The price/Performance was to high. Stadtpeifer is way better.

Nice enough pub. The town itself is not touristy. Men sprecht Deutsch!! If you only speak English then this toon isnae for you

Great atmosphere in this restaurant with view of the Elbe. Food and beer was excellent. I had the anti pasti platter as starter and fillet steak main. We were also treated to a beautiful sunset at 9pm.

We have a family game on motorway car trips at meal times. We nominate a time and wherever we are we have to stop and eat at nearest place. This has actually been surprisingly successful and none more so than today. On our back from Leipzig we turned off the autobahn 20 mins before the agreed 1.30 and scouted around The town of Schöneberg. Heading for the river by intuition we literally fell into the car park of the Weltrad bicycle shop, restaurant and hotel (i think thats called brand diversification). A New build complex complete with views over Elbe, this was a geat find. The restaurant has an open feel with glorious views, the food was international (fish, steak) and very good the homemade pasta must get special mention and the service was very attentive and friendly. We made a mental note to come back on our next trip and hopefully sit outside. Would easily recommend.
